Karen Ann Salmon started at Force Technologies 17 years ago as an Account Manager. She has been the Managing Director of Force for the last 7 years. She lives near the market town of Marlborough in Wiltshire.

Karen has a Marketing Degree from Strathclyde University as well as a Diploma from the Institute of Marketing.

Her career in Semiconductors starting at the broad line distributor MACRO. (Now Silica), three years later joining DensePac Microsystems (later to become DPAC) in a sales and Marketing role. DPAC was a manufacturer of Monolithic and Module memories to the Hi-Rel market.

Karen has directed Force away from it's original conception as a Franchised Distributor and Broker to a Manufacturer and supplier of solutions to Obsolescence, custom and problematic semiconductor devices.

European exports of FT products now account for 65% of the T/O. FTL has agents in most continents but has a major commitment to the total European Hi-Rel Military and associate Markets .

A member of two of the COG Committee's. She has been at the forefront of supplier obsolescence strategies for many years.

Force is an "Investor in People" company. Accreditations include ISO9001:2000.

Karen is proficient in French and German. She is also in her third year Italian and her first year of studying Law with the OU.

She is married with two children, Rebecca 10 and Charlotte 7
