Following the recent audit, the BSI AS Auditor congratulated Francesca Goodman, Force Technology’s Quality Manager, on passing the AS9100 Rev C audit with no non-conformances whatsoever “A very difficult achievement in this industry”.

Commenting on the outstanding result, Karen Salmon, Force’s Director of Quality said:

AS9100C is a critical QMS tool for Force Technologies and our customers. I am particularly pleased that revision C extended the scope and application to include Defense in addition to Aviation and Space, as it is clear the QMS is applicable to other complex systems and will benefit from the inclusion of land and sea based applications.

Many organisations that work in the Civil Aviation, Space, and Defense industries are starting to include counterfeit parts prevention processes within their contractual terms and AS9100C introduces an important clause (7.1.2 Risk Management) designed to tackle this growing problem.

Force Technologies, the UK’s leading re-manufacturer of obsolete semiconductors and related components, recently celebrated 20 years as an ISO certified supplier having first gained approval on the 1st October 1992. AS9100 accreditation was achieved in 2009.
