Eder Fortes Quality Engineer

Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of building a career in quality engineering, fuelled by a genuine passion for continuous improvement. My journey into the aerospace industry began in 2014 as an assembler—a significant shift from my earlier career as a sound engineer in Brazil and Spain. Between these chapters, I worked a variety of roles, including fruit picking in Scotland and serving as an au pair while learning English. These experiences instilled in me resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, values that continue to guide my professional approach today.

I’m thrilled to be joining Force Technologies during such an exciting and pivotal time for the company. I look forward to contributing to their growth and being part of their success story.

I am certified as an AS9100 Internal Auditor and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. In my previous roles, I’ve focused on enhancing compliance and uncovering opportunities for process improvements. Advocating for Lean principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement is something I take pride in, and I’m eager to continue learning and growing alongside my colleagues.

Reflecting on my journey, I’m proud of the path I’ve taken—navigating language barriers, embracing new cultures, and finding my place in an industry I truly enjoy. Outside of work, I have a passion for exploring innovative technologies such as 3D printing, solar power, and lithium batteries.

Above all, I’m deeply grateful for my family. My wife and young son have been steadfast in their support, facing challenges and sacrifices alongside me. Their encouragement inspires me to approach each day with gratitude, humility, and determination.
