November’s Chip of the Month is the FT27C256R.
This month we celebrate another of our favourite chips to come from the Force Technologies. We are one of the few companies still supporting UVEPROM technology that so many defence and flight applications still sorely require to sustain old pieces of equipment.
The issue has always been the frit seal glass windows which at one point only one manufacturer made and Force invested in 100k pieces for legacy projects. The old ceramic packages have now been replaced by the side brazed packages which you can see in the picture.
We are very proud of Chip FT27C256R and the customer it still supports.
