A brilliantly busy few days
It has been non stop on the stand. We have loved catching up with old friends and colleagues from across the semiconductor and electronics industry, and we have had some genuinely exciting conversations with engineers who are tackling obsolescence head on.
Those conversations have already turned into a number of promising new leads for our services, in particular our long-term storage and our Sovereign Test Lab. Both speak directly to the challenge so many teams are facing: how to keep critical systems supported when the parts they depend on are becoming obsolete, hard to source or open to counterfeiting.
Karen joins the supply chain resilience panel
Our CEO, Karen Salmon, took to the stage as part of a panel on Supply Chain Strategies for Continued Market Resilience, alongside other leading voices from across the industry. The discussion covered the issues keeping engineering and procurement teams up at night:
- Diversification to combat potential shortages
- The impact of geopolitical shifts on supply
- New technologies for boosting supply chain efficiency
- Collaboration between local and international players
It was an honest, wide ranging conversation about how the industry builds real resilience, and where sovereign UK capability fits in.
Recognised on the Semiconductor Impact List
We were also thrilled to see Karen recognised with a Semiconductor Impact List award, celebrating the people making a genuine difference across the UK semiconductor industry. A well deserved moment, and a proud one for the whole Force Technologies team.
A little magic on the stand
It has not all been serious supply chain talk. We had a magician on the stand who completely blew our guests away with some seriously clever close up tricks. If you have not seen a component vanish and reappear yet, you are missing out.
