We’re excited to announce the delivery of our brand-new, custom-built nitrogen generator, a major milestone in enhancing our long-term storage capabilities at Force Technologies.
This high-purity nitrogen system is now operational in our Titan building, our recently completed state-of-the-art storage facility built to support the most demanding requirements for component preservation and critical part longevity.
A Purpose-Built Environment for Longevity
The Titan building has been engineered from the ground up to provide ideal conditions for long-term component storage. The facility features:
- Full Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection
- Precise temperature and humidity control
- Dedicated nitrogen storage cabinets
These features work together to create a stable, contaminant-free environment essential for maintaining the integrity of sensitive components over extended periods.
On-Site Nitrogen Generation: Pure, Reliable, Sustainable
With our own on-site nitrogen generation system, we can now produce ultra-high-purity 99.9995% nitrogen without relying on bottled gas or external suppliers. This investment not only enhances the consistency of our storage environment but also reduces our environmental footprint and logistical complexity.
Why Nitrogen Storage Matters
In the right storage conditions, including controlled atmosphere and moisture exclusion, semiconductors, packaged ICs, and bare die can remain stable for decades. Nitrogen plays a critical role by:
- Preventing oxidation
- Inhibiting moisture absorption
- Protecting solderability and metallization
- Preserving the electrical and physical characteristics of components
This ensures that critical components, even those considered obsolete or hard to source are available, functional, and compliant when our customers need them most.
Supporting Long-Term Supply Chain Security
At Force Technologies, we’re committed to safeguarding the long-term availability of mission-critical components. Whether for aerospace, defence, medical, or industrial applications, our enhanced storage capabilities are part of a broader strategy to de-risk the electronics supply chain.
If your operations depend on the availability of legacy components, or you’re planning ahead for product lifecycle support, we can help.
