Driving Efficiency at Force Technologies: Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
At Force Technologies, we’re always striving for innovation, efficiency, and excellence in everything we do. With our business expanding rapidly, we recognized the need for a dedicated Quality Engineer to support our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Eder, our newest team member and Quality Engineer at Force Technologies. In a recent episode of our Tech Talk Podcast (#10), we sat down with Eder to discuss his journey, his passion for lean manufacturing, and the exciting improvements already underway.
What is Lean Manufacturing?
At its core, lean manufacturing is about eliminating waste—whether that’s time, materials, or inefficient processes. But it’s more than just cutting out unnecessary steps; it’s a systematic approach that focuses on continuous improvement, standardization, and creating a culture where everyone contributes to efficiency gains.
Commitment to Quality: Maintaining Excellence
At Force Technologies, quality has always been our top priority—we’ve maintained eight years with zero non-conformances in audits, an achievement we take great pride in.
Eder acknowledges that audits aren’t just about compliance; they’re also an opportunity for growth. “Non-conformances aren’t necessarily a bad thing,” he says. “They highlight areas where we can improve, and that’s what continuous improvement is all about.”
